M51 on axis spiral galaxy with an arm connecting to a colliding galaxy - Frank Marks (frank)

70 sec. x 10 exposures using a Canon EOS 20D SLR digital camera mounted at F7 focus on my Celestron CGE 1400 with tracking equatorial mount. A .63 focal reducer was use. No guiding was used during the exposure. I used Maxim/DL CCD software from Diffraction Limited with Max Eos driver software from bearcreekobservatory.com to process the picture. Than I used Neat Image to further reduce noise in the image.
